TowerCams

The picturse are taken with Ubiquiti AirCams mounted at approximately 15 foot up the tower. The view is towards the north-west and north-east. When it's clear, you can barely see a cell tower in each frame. After dark, the blinking red light shows as a dot.

I just switched out the plastic Ubiquiti mounts for metal and plastic RF Elements AbraCam Bullet mounts. They are adjustable in almost every direction and can be strapped to the tower leg with breeze clamps. Click here to see the mount on the tower.

The picture is supposed to update automatically every 30 minutes. If you see what looks like an old picture, try refreshing your browser window to see the new image. This page will refresh every 30 minutes.

You can also see the camera view on my Personal Weather Station page or WeatherUnderground.

How the weather data gets here-

The weather data is extracted from Cumulus (sandaysoft.com) to a text file every 10 minutes and automatically transfered to a different computer running BlueIris (blueirissoftware.com). BlueIris overlays the text file on the image and FTPs the picture to the webserver every 30 minutes.
